31 Albanians arrested as Italian police crack down on drug distribution network

Italian authorities have cracked down on a drug distribution network, resulting in the arrest of 45 individuals in the Alba and Bra regions near Turin. Among those apprehended, 31 are Albanian citizens.

These individuals were involved in the distribution of potent narcotics, working in collaboration with each other.

Additionally, 16 individuals suspected of being connected to this operation are currently wanted and believed to be in hiding in Albania.

Reports from Italian media indicate that investigators managed to trace the drug distributors through wiretaps conducted on their clientele.

During the operation, Italian law enforcement conducted searches at various residences, seizing a significant amount of illicit substances.

The seized items included 860 grams of cocaine, 415 grams of marijuana, 8.9 kilograms of hashish, 12,930 euros in cash, 600 grams of hash oil, a firearm, 28 rounds of ammunition, and materials used for drug packaging.

Among the Albanian citizens apprehended in Italy are Serxho Avdulla, Florjan Perlika, Mateo Ceka, Emanuel Lleshi, Renato Shkoza, Klaudio Topalli, Zef Gjoni, Irena Gjoni, Eliona Lokani, and Mirela Lufi.

Italian law enforcement continues to work diligently to identify and apprehend any additional individuals linked to this drug distribution network.
