Albania, renowned as a popular tourist destination among travelers worldwide, has once again drawn the interest and intrigue of numerous foreign visitors eager to explore its offerings.
As of September 25, the number of passengers passing through Tirana International Airport “Mother Teresa” reached 5.2 million, surpassing the record set for the entire year of 2022.
Preliminary data indicates that Albania welcomed approximately 7.2 million foreign tourists during the period from January to August this year, reflecting a remarkable 27% increase.
Albania’s extensive coastline, stretching from north to south, boasts a variety of beaches, including Velipoja near Shkodra, Shëngjin, Durrës, Vlora, Himara, and Saranda.
These picturesque shores attract visitors from May through October.
