Tirana police have arrested 2 people, a man and a woman, who used 5 Chinese citizens for prostitution.

During the coded operation Red Light 3, citizens A. Ë., 45 years old, Zh. Y., 30 years old, for the criminal offenses “Trafficking of adults”, “Exploiting prostitution” and “Maintaining premises for prostitution”, committed in cooperation,

In addition, 5 Chinese citizens were prosecuted for the criminal offense of “Prostitution”, provided for by Article 113 of the Criminal Code, as well as for the criminal offense of “Disobedience of crime”, citizen G. L., 62 years old, resident in Tirana.

“From the investigative actions carried out in the framework of the proceedings, it was found that the citizens A. Ë. and Zh. Y., in cooperation with each other, have brought to Albania, 5 foreign nationals, who were promised that they would employ them in massage centers in Albania. After these citizens arrived in Albania, the two arrested used them for prostitution in rented premises (apartments). From the investigative actions, it was legally documented the fact that the suspected perpetrators advertised on online sites, citizens who used them for prostitution, they found the clients, waited for them at the entrance of the building where prostitution was practiced and after making the payments ranging from 200-300 euros, they sent the clients to the apartment”, informed the police.
