Albania has reported a decline in COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours. The Ministry of Health also announced that there have been 5 COVID-attributed deaths in the past 24 hours, whereas after results came back on 3.067 tests, 207 new positive cases were confirmed.
Currently, a total of 185 patients are receiving specialized treatment in the COVID-designated hospitals, 38 of whom are exhibiting severe cases of the virus.
Authorities also announced that 498 citizens have successfully recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the known total number of recoveries since the beginning of the pandemic in our country to 160.628.
There’s a total of 8 000 active cases nationwide, whereas 2.718 people have lost their lives so far, the majority of whom with underlying health conditions.
