According to the Barometer survey, 63.7% of the capital’s residents, Tirana’s main problem, listed the cost of living.

48.6% of them think corruption is problematic, 38.6% point to pollution and the environment as problematic, 36.9% of the capital’s residents have problems with traffic and time spent in it, 33.2% of the capital’s residents listed construction and population density as problematic and 28.8% of them state roads and infrastructure as most problematic.

The Barometer asked the capital’s residents how their lives have changed in the areas where they live compared to 5 years ago.

According to the survey, 60.6% of the citizens of the capital think that the work done by the Municipality for the infrastructure in kindergartens and schools has become better, 28.1% think that it has not gone so well or badly, while 8.9% think that things have gone badly.

The work done in terms of sports activities, 53.3% of the citizens of the capital think that things have gone better than 5 years ago, 31.5% think that these activities are not as good or worse, while 7.4% think that they are worse than 5 years ago.

52.2% of the citizens of the capital think that the sports premises are better than 5 years ago, 32.7% think that they are not good or worse, while 7.6% think that the sports premises are worse.

51.5% of the citizens of the capital think that the cultural activities in Tirana are better than 5 years ago, 33.9% of them think that they are not that much or they are worse than 5 years ago, while 7.6% of them think that they are not better at all than 5 years ago.

41.4% of the citizens of the capital think that the quality of water is worse than it was 5 years ago, 35.1% of them think that it is better, while 23.4% of the citizens of the capital think that the quality of drinking water is much worse.

Road infrastructure in Tirana: 34.8% of the capital’s inhabitants think that their quality is worse than 5 years ago, while 33.8% of them think that the road infrastructure is better. 31.3% of the citizens of the capital think that the road infrastructure is much worse than 5 years ago.

Quality of life: 41% of the residents of the capital think that the quality of life is no better or worse than 5 years ago, while 32% of them think that it is better. 27% of them think that the quality of life is bad or much worse than 5 years ago.

The cleanliness of the capital: 44.4% of citizens think that it is not at all good or bad compared to 5 years ago, while 29.8% is better. 25.8% of the citizens of the capital think that the cleanliness of the capital is bad or much worse than 5 years ago.

Public transport: 49.5% of the citizens of the capital think that public transport is not at all good or bad compared to 5 years ago, while 24.1% of them think that it is better or very good. 20.7% of them think that public transport is worse or much worse than 5 years ago.

Public spaces/parks: 34.6% of citizens think that they are not so good or bad compared to 5 years ago, while 27.6% of them think that they are much better than 5 years ago. 37% think they are very bad.

Constructions: 49% of Albanians think they are much worse than 5 years ago, while 19.9% ​​think they are better than 5 years ago. 30.4% of the residents of the capital think that they are not so bad, or compared to 5 years ago.

Parking lots: 50.7% of the residents of the capital think that they are much worse compared to 5 years ago, while 17.7% of them think that they are better. 28.9% think that they are not so good or bad compared to 5 years ago.

Traffic in the capital: 52.9% of the citizens of the capital think that the traffic is much worse than 5 years ago, 17% think that it is better. 29.6% of them think that the traffic is not so good/or bad compared to 5 years ago.

Environmental pollution: 46.4% of the citizens of the capital think that environmental pollution is much worse than 5 years ago, 15% of them think that it is better, 38.6% of the citizens of the capital think that it is not as bad/it is worse than 5 years ago before.
