58% of DP voters oppose Berisha’s ousting from the parliamentary group

More than half of Democrats stand against Lulzim Basha’s decision to expel Sali Berisha from DP’s parliamentary group.

Only 23% say they support Basha’s decision.

However, Basha’s decision seems to have found support amongst the general population.

Asked by Euronews Albania and MRB regarding the recent Basha-Berisha controversy, almost half of those polled say they side with Lulzim Basha’s decision to oust Berisha from the party’s parliamentary group.

In addition, only 28% say they ‘don’t agree’ with Basha.

In any case, 43% of Albanians don’t see Berisha’s ousting as a possible indicator that PM Rama and his political rival, Lulzim Bashsa might have agreed to a secret pact. Only 18% of Albanians believe in a possible secret agreement amongst the two.
