66.% of Albanians have reduced their consumption and expenses due to the crisis

The crisis has affected basket goods. To cope with the crisis, 66.2% of Albanians spend less money everywhere.

36.4% of them have given up on some expenses, 35% of them buy cheaper goods and 30% of them consume less.

But there are also those who have asked for the help of their children to face the crisis and they are 11.8%, while 7% have asked for the help of relatives and 2.6% have borrowed.

For 99.6% of Albanians, the increase in prices has been more visible in the food basket.

66.6% of them think that transportation has become more expensive.

While then the list is followed by alcohol and tobacco with 33.2%, housing with 32.1%, health 19.2% and clothing 18.8%.

Compared to the period from March to November, there was a 12.6% increase in those who spent less everywhere to face the crisis.

While from March to November there was a discount of 16.9% among those who consumed less to cope with the high prices.

The increase in prices has not only affected the lower class.

Divided according to their finances, those with higher incomes have chosen to reduce their spending to face the crisis by as much as 64.4%, whereas those falling on the lower income scale have reduced their spending by only 15.8%.

Of the ones who now consume less, those with higher income make up 23%, while those with lower income make up 36.3%.

For those with a lower income, the best solution to save is to buy cheaper products, this method was used by 45.9% of respondents, while among those with a higher income, this method was used by 24.3%.
