In a special ceremony at the Lake’s Amphitheater last night, the awards of the 6th edition of the “Tirana Photo Festival” were distributed.

In the world of photography, where every shot captures a unique narrative, photography festivals serve as a platform for the visionaries behind the lens.

“Tirana Photo Festival” awarded prizes to the best photographs of this edition entitled “On the Move”. All photography enthusiasts gathered at the ceremony.

This edition attracted photographers of all backgrounds, from amateurs to seasoned professionals.

Chiara Bellamol, who is Italian, stood out among them, she had a cold author’s language, in imperfect formation. However, she tried to create an interesting story that symbolizes both the movement and the whirlwind of life in everyone,” said Bevis Fusha.

The jury panel, consisting of photographers, critics and art connoisseurs examined every detail and message conveyed by the photographs to select the winners.

The first prize went to Majlinda Deda, with her black and white photo of a boy throwing.

This is titled where the picture is hidden, I photographed it in Velipoja and under a horse carriage. This child kept jumping because he knew I was photographing him,” she said.

The photography festival will return with other editions, with other themes where countless stories are waiting to be captured through the lens of talent and passion.
