In the last 24 hours, 7 citizens have unfortunately lost their lives due to complications from the COVID-19 virus, in Albania.
Meanwhile, a slight decline in the number of daily cases has been noticed by authorities, who reported 445 new cases today out of a total 3 500 suspected tests.
At the moment, there’s a total of 7 548 active cases nationwide.
170 patients have been hospitalized so far, in the COVID-designated hospitals around the country, 22 of whom are exhibiting severe forms of the virus.
In addition, a total of 840 citizens were reported to have recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total known number of recoveries in our country, since the beginning of the pandemic, to 163 867.
