The tax administration calls on businesses to declare the real salaries of employees by the 20th of this month.

Taxes have sent letters to enterprises, which are suspected of evasion, asking them for answers about the working time, the professions with which the employees have concluded the agreement and the employment category.
The call comes a few days after Prime Minister Edi Rama warned of strong blows for evaders, who will be equated with energy thieves and will face criminal prosecution, if they do not correct the balances.
At this stage, the scheme aims to increase the income in the social and health insurance coffers by 16%, while the pressure in the future will not only be with awareness messages, but also with controls within the enterprises.
Real wage reporting helps employees earn a higher pension in the future while reducing the Social Security deficit today.
The Ministry of Finance and Taxation suspects that there are about 10,000 small and large enterprises that evade salaries and pressure employees not to report the violations that burden them.
