9.54 million tourists visited Albania by the end of November

Albania is emerging as a unique and exciting destination even for Scottish travelers. Over 9.54 million foreigners visited Albania by the end of November.

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the fact that the country was visited by 547 thousand foreign tourists in November indicates that Albania is seen as a super-destination for sustainable tourism throughout the year.

“The November figures lead us to records and new expectations of hospitality with 9.54 million foreign visitors we have welcomed this year. The 547 thousand foreign tourists who came to Albania in November are proof that the country is being visited in every season and in every corner of the territory, confirming itself as a super-destination for year-round and sustainable tourism,” expressed Rama.

Albania witnessed record numbers of tourists throughout 2023, which has been dubbed as the best year for tourism in the country.

Multiple renowned outlets have included Albania in their travel suggestions, indicating that the country has now transformed itself into a popular destination among travelers.
