The number of new infections in Albania has seen a significant decline for the past two days as only 50 new cases have been identified. The Ministry of Health has announced that during the last 24 hours, there have only been 51 new cases, out of a total of 1 995 suspected tests.

On the other hand, there were unfortunately 3 victims whose age ranged from 62-77 years old, bringing thus the total number of fatalities in our country to 2 402.

While the number of new cases is declining, the number of recoveries is on the rise. In the past 24 hours, 834 citizens have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries since the beginning of the pandemic to 112 626.

In the meantime, the COVID designated hospitals are treating 116 patients, 17 in the ICU and 8 intubated.
