Following PM Edi Rama’s declaration, which stated that he will be consulting with DP regarding the name of the new president of the country, the Democrats have touched base.
Through a statement for the press, the Democratic party reiterated their accusations for Rama on the electoral process of April 25th and the impeachment of president Ilir Meta was a matter they didn’t touch on, seeing also that this is an initiative undertaken by the Socialists.
“Edi Rama is the author of the electoral massacre and the altering of Albanians’ free will for change. Aiming to take the attention away from this, he continues with the lies, manipulations and diversions. The electoral theft by Rama-Doshi-Rakipi led our country toward a massive electoral massacre, where the victims are Albanian citizens and their future,” writes the DP in their reaction.
Meanwhile, it is reemphasized that democrats will continue to be steady and fight diligently in the name of the “return of democracy in our country”.
“Our duty for Albanians is to stay steadfast, certain and fight diligently in order to return democracy in our country. No diversion will stop us in this battle, starting with the unraveling of proofs, evidence and data that testify on the true measurements of this electoral massacre put in place by the Rama-Doshi-Rakipi regime,” writes their reaction.
