Kosovo will receive a batch of 38.000 vaccine doses on Wednesday from the COVAX mechanism, declared the country’s health ministry.

“These doses will arrive in Kosovo on Wednesday. With the delivery of these COVID-19 vaccines, we will continue with the vaccination of the categories as foreseen by the COVID-19 vaccination state plan”, the ministry stated.

The situation in the country appears to be more stable in the past weeks, with 47 new cases recorded today.

Currently, there are 6.402 active cases across the country.

The official COVID-19 death toll is 2.210, according to official figures.
