The representative of the Democratic Party at the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), Marash Logu said to Euronews Albania that in the case that the Electoral College also fails to concur with their pretenses regarding the manipulation of the electoral process of April 25th, they will be forced to take the case to the Constitutional Court and after to the International Court of Strasburg.
“We’ll be taking our appeals to the Constitutional Court and to the International Court of Strasbourg. This is not the type of battle, we’re planning to leave in the middle,” said Logu.
He expressed his conviction that the Electoral College will grant DP’s motions regarding the cases now overturned by CAS and that it will accept their request to retrieve further evidence, which according to Logu are all it takes to prove the electoral massacre that took place on April 25th.
DP’s representative also affirmed that today, the Democratic Party is going to issue a request for the retrieval of further evidence as well as the invalidation of the electoral results in the districts of Durres and Shkoder.
