Minister Vitia meets Chamber of Hospitality and Tourism in Kosovo, granting 95% of their demands

The Hospitality and Tourism industry in Kosovo will go back to work on June 15th.

The confirmation came from the Chamber of Hospitality and Tourism, following the meeting its representatives had with the Minister of Health in Kosovo, Arben Vitia.

In the announcement that was published, they emphasized that both parties came to an agreement that starting from June 15th, work groups should be assembled, which will create a manual for each owner of a restaurant and other sectors, so that the entire process can be organized and implemented in the best possible way.

The relaxation of restrictive measures put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19, includes pools, nightclubs and wedding halls.

Meanwhile, in an interview for Euronews Albania, Hysen Sogojeva, Director of the Chamber of Hospitality and Tourism in Kosovo stated that the decisions were made unanimously and that they are happy with this relaxation of measures in Kosovo, which will finally enable the business sector to breathe again and hopefully get back on its tracks.
