After three weeks, the second Inquiry Commission for the impeachment of President Ilir Meta is finalizing its proceedings.  The commission will be approving the final report today, which will then be submitted to Parliament.

According to the ruling party, the president has breached the Constitution through the language used in his recent appearances, during and after the electoral campaign.

The Head of State, Ilir Meta hasn’t been present in any of the sessions, despite the numerous biddings from the commission and administration. The president has stated however that he doesn’t recognize the authority of the commission that was voted according to him, by a nonlegitimate parliament.
