Today, the Commission of Appeals and Sanctions is expected to issue a final decision on the counties of Korca, Elbasan and Fier.

The appeals submitted for these counties were examined yesterday by CAS, where the Democratic Party is making demands for the invalidation of results and a repeat vote in these counties.

Meanwhile, CAS is also examining the appeals submitted by the VV (Self-determination movement) and candidate Iljaz Shehu, in the county of Lezha.

In his appeal, Shehu claims that in many ballot papers, the commissioners have unlawfully made markings in order to proclaim the ballots as invalid, a claim which has also been accompanied by several video recordings.

In addition, next Monday, all the appeals proceedings submitted to CAS regarding the April 25^th elections, are expected to wrap up.

The proceedings will then be handed over to the Electoral College, which will continue the work on the appeals made by the opposition.
