Trends continue to stabilize as Kosovo eases COVID-19 restrictions and lifts nighttime curfew

For days now, no fatalities have been reported in Kosovo as a result of COVID-19.

Health authorities report that in the last 24 hours, only 5 cases have come out positive out of the total 2007 tests conducted during the day.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Kosovo, 2.243 people have unfortunately lost their lives.

The National Institute of Public Health also reported that 184 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries since the beginning of the pandemic to 102.966.

Starting from today, citizens of Kosovo can move freely as the Kurti administration has officially lifted the curfew.

In addition, the foodservice sector has also benefited from more relaxed measures, allowing them to extend their opening hours until 23:00 p.m.

The Minister of Health in Kosovo, Arben Vitia also announced this Friday that the country has just signed a deal for 1.2 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine.
