While the Albanian parliament has convened to vote on his impeachment, President Ilir Meta, as he has done during the entire investigation process against him, decided to ignore the procedure of his dismissal, which would be an early release, one year before the end of his term.

Parallelly with the plenary session for his impeachment, the head of state invited the Folk-Dance Ensemble of Dibra “Hazis Ndreu” in the premises of the Presidency.

While the MPs were speaking about Meta’s violations, the Presidency is cheering up with traditional song and dance, after also according honorable titles to the renowned personalities of this Ensemble.
