President Vjosa Osmani has declared that Kosovo is determined to continue the dialogue with Serbia and its collaboration with all neighboring states.
This declaration was given during a joint conference with the president of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid, while also adding that Kosovo has clear goals in this dialogue and she won’t be agreeing to any border revisions.
Osmani also argued that this phase of the dialogue marks a new chapter for Kosovo.
“We won’t under any circumstances discuss our final status. Kosovo is an independent country. In addition, we will also not accept any changes in our borders. We won’t accept any models similar to that of the Serbian Republic in Bosnia, because we want to protect Kosovo,” declared Osmani.
“Another important matter is that of the missing persons. Serbia should say where the missing persons are,” declared Osmani.
The president of Kosovo is staying in Estonia on a two-day visit, where she will meet with state leader, including the president of the parliament, Jüri Ratas and PM Kaja Kallas.
In addition, on June 15th a meeting between PM Albin Kurti and Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic regarding the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue is expected to take place in Brussels.
