Kosovo Parliament holds plenary session, Kurti to report on progression of dialogue process

The Parliament of Kosovo will be holding a plenary session today, one day after his encounter with the Prime minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic at the Summit of Tirana, Albin Kurti will be going before the MPs of the Kosovar Parliament, in order to give a progress report, regarding the dialogue with Belgrade and his meeting with President Vucic on June 15th.

The course of events for today in the Kosovar Parliament also foresees discussions regarding the dialogue process, but the opposition has expressed several disagreements.

The opposition parties in Kosovo have stated that they expect the prime minister to openly express what his approach will be in this new dialogue process, as well as the principles through which negotiations will be taking place, as well as what the “red lines” are.

In addition, the opposition is also seeking details regarding the negotiation team, the common objective that is being aimed as well as the method by which the support of international partners is being achieved in this process.

The PM of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic will be holding their first EU and US mediated meeting regarding the resumption of their dialogue, on June 15th, in Brussels.
