The National Agency of Employment and Qualifications in collaboration with the Global Program “Migration for Development” are organizing the Virtual Fair of Work and Career on June 16th, that will be focused on the youth, especially those completing professional high school education.
From 09:00 until 16:00, 100 of the largest companies in Albania, representatives of all fields of industry like telecommunication, hospitality-tourism, banks, call-centers and many others, will be presenting their offers.
This fair will offer:
- More than 2,000 vacant positions
- Professional practices
- Study scholarships
- Career orientation and guiding
Parallelly with the fair, in the same online platform there will also informative sessions and various training sessions designed to held job-seekers get closers to the standards of the job market.
Doctor Grigor Stojkov, representative of GIZ Albania stated that despite the fact that this is the first national virtual fair, its success is guaranteed because of the advantages it offers.
“Firstly, the participants in the fair will have the chance to be present without being physically there. This means that people from Kukes can apply in a company or hotel operating in Saranda and vice versa, people from Korca can apply in Durres. Everyone can become part of the fair through a computer or phone from home. And participating companies can do the same thing, and we have more than 100 participants in this fair, and at the same time, we don’t have any added costs like rent, or buying specific design materials. We don’t have these expenses and this is why we can have a high number of applicants,” stated Stojkov.
