Anti-Corruption Unit disembarks in Saranda, seizing several high-profile casefiles from the Cadaster

Yesterday, the Special Anti-Corruption and Anti-Evasion Unit of the Prime Minister’s Office, carried out a blitz search ordered by PM Rama, at the Saranda State Agency Cadaster.

The special unit searched for a series of property files, which are suspected to have been involved in corruptive affairs.

Three coordinators of the Anti-Corruption Unit, Helena Lula, Enertil Canaj and Sokol Plaku have administered the series of files, while forewarning that there will be penalties against high-profile figures in this institution that will range all the way to criminal prosecution.

In the meantime, this Wednesday the Anti-Corruption Unit carried out the same operation at Vlora’s State Agency Cadaster, where many other files were also administered.

The Special Anti-Corruption Unit, in collaboration with the FBI and the Guardia di Finanza will be investigating corruption at all levels of government.
