“Until Bulgaria can form a new political government and a parliament, which will lead the next 4-year term, we can’t ask anything from Sofia,” stated the Macedonian president Stevo Pandarovski for “Sitel”.
In regards to the accusations made by the opposition that the government is selling the nation’s identity, Pendarovski said that nothing like that is actually happening.
“I can’t speculate whether something of that nature actually happened. I can only tell you what the prime minister told me regarding what was discussed. From everything that was told to me by the prime minister, I can say that nothing like this actually exists, not in the written or verbal form. This is all I know,” said Pendarovski.
When asked about the letter sent by the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after the meeting with the European Council, Pendarovski referred to it as a marketing trick.
