The Chair of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, participated in the Political Assembly of the European People’s Parties today, in Brussels.

This is the first visit of the leader of the democrats in an international political forum, after the elections of April 25^th.

In the meetings conducted between officials of the EPP, Basha also spoke on the claims of the opposition regarding irregularities with the last parliamentary elections in Albania.

“We stand together for democracy, for our citizens,” he emphasized.

DP’s press room announced that in the speech given during the Assembly, the leader of the democrats thanked the People’s Parties of Europe for their help shown to DP and democracy in Albania.
