Starting from this Wednesday, June 30, the European Union has agreed to lift all restrictions, which would previously apply to citizens coming from Kosovo, Bosnia-Hercegovina and Montenegro, wishing to travel to EU member states.
This will mean that all citizens coming from these 3 nations will be able to travel freely in the territories that are part of the Union, for any purpose be it business, leisure or tourism.
This relaxation of travel restrictions has been a result of the stabilization of the current epidemiologic situation in each of the three countries.
Amongst the other countries marked by the EU as low-risk in terms of the COVID-19 pandemic are Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia.
However, citizens coming from these countries are still obligated to respect all predetermined pandemic rules and regulations. In order for a country to be registered as a safe travel destination by the EU, it should report a total of no more than 75 daily positive cases per 100.000 people, within the last 14 days.
