For days now, Albania hasn’t reported any victims due to the COVID-19 virus. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection has stated that in the last 24 hours, only 2 new cases have been identified, whereas 3 citizens are currently being treated at the Infective Hospital, in Tirana.
Across the entire country, there’s a total of 52 active cases, whereas since the beginning of the pandemic, the virus has claimed the lives of 2.456 citizens, while 130.029 others have fortunately recovered.
Citizens over 50 years of age, as well as the employees of companies and enterprises that come into contact with a large number of people are continuing to receive the anti-COVID vaccine.
Meanwhile, authorities emphasize that to date, a total of 416.791 citizens have received both doses of the vaccine.
