Albin Kurti and his predecessor, Avdullah Hoti went back and forth in today’s plenary session regarding the Washington Agreement, signed by Hoti, when he was in office.

According to PM Kurti, this agreement served to open the doors of the White House to Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, and to isolate Kosovo, by causing it to not become a part of international institutions.

“It would be impossible for Serbia to welcome its head of state, – the participator of the wars in Former Yugoslavia, the minister of Milosevic’s secret services, – without a proper red carpet, and the one that rolled it out for him was someone specifically from the country of many victims, none other than our former prime minister,” said Kurti, referring to Hoti.

Kurti also spoke on the feasibility of Ujman, which was also a result of the September 4th agreement signed in Washington D.C, regarding the utilization and separation of the waters of the Ujman lake with Serbia. Kurti pointed out that “they [the Serbian side] are ready to use all kinds of arguments for this natural resource that belongs to Kosovo”.
