In the last 24 hours, COVID-19 hasn’t claimed any lives in our country, as 13 new cases have been identities out of a total of 2.007 suspected tests.
The Ministry of Health has also announced that at the moment, there are 66 active patients nationwide, 3 of whom are received specialized treatment at Tirana’s Infective Hospital.
Authorities are appealing to citizens to not lower their guards and scrupulously comply to all COVID preventive measures, as the Delta variant is spreading in neighboring countries across the Balkans region and Europe, something that has raised the alarm in all healthcare providing structures in our country.
Meanwhile, 2 citizens have fully recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries since the onset of the pandemic in our country to 130.035.
