SPAK is sending the case of the former mayor of Pogradec Eduart Kapri to court amid allegations of abusing with public tenders and abuse of office.
Kapri, along with five other municipal workers, are accused of misappropriating with a tender for the purchase of woods as well as counts of abuse of office.
According to SPAK, investigations led to evidence that the accused collaborated with the former Pogradec mayor and violated principles of parity of those running to win the tender for the purchase of woods.
In addition, Gurali Blaceri and Safet Blaceri, both former caretakers at the Directorate of the Education Center are accused of locking the outside premises of three schools and a kindergarten, which were supposed to be used as voting centers.
A few days ago, SPAK arrested the mayor of Lushnje, Fatos Tushe, for abuse of office.
