The European Commission has reacted to a lawsuit deposited at SPAK by the Alliance for the Protection of the National Theater against EU Ambassador Luigi Soreca.
The Commission’s spokesperson, Peter Stano, declared that the accusations pressed against the head of the EU delegation are “baseless” and “defamatory”.
…the Head of Delegation are baseless and defamatory.

The Alliance for the Protection of the Theater raised a series of allegations against the Ambassador and called on him to explain a meeting with the head of the Constitutional Court, casting doubts that he might have potentially tried to affect the court’s verdict.
The EU Delegation to Albania considered the claims of the Alliance as “defamatory”, clarifying on Twitter that the latter is not based on truthful facts while explaining that the meeting was over another case.
