On September 15^th, Socialists will be conducting an analysis of their own amongst their party structures, regarding the April 25^th elections.

Compared to Democrats, who began their analysis of April 25^th this June, the socialist party will conduct this process at the beginning of the new season, after the decree of the new administration.

SP’s organizational secretary, Arben Pëllumbi stated that the first phase of this analysis will go on through to November, and will then move on to the analysis on the administrative, municipal and county level, in order to finally wrap up by January 2022.

“SP is at the phase of consultations with the Special Commission, which will be dealing with the preparation of the methodology, based on which our analysis will be conducted,” said Pëllumbi.

Meanwhile, this fall the 1-year mandate of SP’s leadership and secretaries is bound to end, which according to Pëllumbi means that a meeting of SP’s National Assembly will be called, in order to decide on whether there is a need to hold elections or whether the current leadership will be granted another term.
