The number of new cases reported by authorities has been steadily rising compared to the figures recorded in the past months. On Friday, 31 citizens tested positive for COVID-19, although no deaths were reported.
More than 130,110 citizens have recovered from the beginning of the pandemic, while the case count is estimated at nearly 132,820.
Currently, there are 254 active cases across the country, of which 6 were admitted to the hospital.
Health Minister Ogerta Manastirliu announced that a batch of 44,000 Pfizer jabs will arrive on Monday and urged citizens to get vaccinated in order to avoid a new potential wave amid rising concerns from the Delta strain.
