The ministry’s objective is to administer and protect rights that have a powerful effect on the well-functioning of the economy and strengthening rules for fair competition.

By 2023, the aim is to adhere to the “Singapore Law of Trademark Law”.

The package is expected to cost 600 million Albanian Lek (around €4,9 million).

Out of the total sum, 330 million ALL are aimed at raising public awareness through informative campaigns on intellectual property rights, while the rest are expenditures for the development and strengthening of institutions involved in their implementation.
