The Ambassador of the United States to Albania Yuri Kim published a letter on Albanian daily paper “Panoroma” where she conveyed several messages to political actors in the country.
Ambassador Kim called on PM Edi Rama, DP’s leader Lulzim Basha, as well as other party leaders, to review who is on their list of MPs that will form the new legislative.
“I will ask that Edi Rama, Lulzim Basha, as well as other leaders, review their lists one more time to make sure that when they come back in parliament, people can be proud of their representatives”, wrote Kim.
On behalf of the US government, Ambassador Kim said that the upcoming month will require “true leadership” and called for cooperation by leaving aside the interests of the party.
