Although no victims were recorded over the last 24 hours, the number of active COVID-19 cases in Kosovo has climbed to 1,321.
The health ministry says 271 tested positive on Friday.
From the beginning of the pandemic, more than 105,000 have recovered from the virus.
The pace of the vaccination campaign has been slow in the country of 1,86 million. According to the authorities, at least 165,190 have received both vaccine doses.
Health experts attribute the high infection rates to the spread of the new strain, known also as Delta, and have been urging citizens to get the COVID-19 shot in order to reduce the risk of getting severe symptoms.
The official death toll is estimated at 2,270.
