President Ilir Meta and the leader of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha thanked Kosovo for the help it provided to Albania in battling the fires that have broken out in the northern part of the country.

Ilir Meta also informed that the Kalimashi tunnel is now passable, despite the fact that the work to extinguish the active fires on the mountain of Rrunja is still ongoing.

Basha thanked the Kosovo military forces for cooperation with Albania whenever it is in difficult conditions.
