COVID-19 claimed the lives of two citizens on Tuesday. The Ministry of Health also confirmed that 562 people tested positive to the virus over the past 24 hours.

So far, nearly 105,850 citizens have recovered.

According to a tally kept by health authorities, 2,273 citizens have died from COVID-19, a majority of which were suffering from underlying conditions.

The spread of the delta variant has fueled a rise in active infections as well.

According to the Institute of Public Health, the number of active cases across the country is estimated at 2,640.
