The epidemiologic situation in Kosovo doesn’t appear stable and this is affirmed by the numbers reported by health authorities in the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health announced that a total of 17 citizens lost their lives today, and 1067 new tests on the presence of a coronavirus infection came back positive.
In addition, in the past 24 hours, the number of recoveries has also increased, bringing the total number since the onset of the pandemic in Kosovo, to over 107 000.
At the moment, there’s a concerning 20 000 active cases all around Kosovo. Despite these indicators, the Institute of Public Health in Kosovo, reported one day ago that they had been able to deter the rapid spread of the ‘Delta’ variant.
