On Tuesday, North Macedonia registered the highest number of victims since April. Authorities confirmed that the virus claimed the lives of 37 citizens over the past 24 hours.
On the other side, new infections saw a slight drop after 870 citizens tested positive.
The total case count has reached 176,994 from the beginning of the pandemic, and recoveries at circa 156,300, of which 661 in the past day.
The country continues to battle with a considerable number of active infections, estimated at around 14,249.
Over 5,900 have died from COVID-19 in North Macedonia.
