The head of the Socialist Party’s parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, told media that he will continue to pursue his duties without sidestepping any responsibility.
Balla thanked the citizens that voted him in Elbasan, nearly 90,000 voters, and said to appreciate his new duty as district leader of Fier.
“Time will show that a vote for the Socialist Party is a vote cast for the wellbeing and European future of the country. I want to thank the members of the SP, there are around 16,000 in the district of Elbasan, and thank the patrons who did a great job, for maybe they were forgotten”, said Balla, describing the former as a powerful electoral machine that yielded success to the Socialist Party.
Balla dodged a question from Euronews Albania on whether he was disappointed for not landing any post in the cabinet.
He also reiterated his continuous support for the Socialist Party, emphasizing that it will come out as victorious in the local polls due in 2023, and even in the next parliamentary elections.
