This Thursday, September 2^nd has been characterized by yet another rise in fatalities and new infections due to COVID-19, in Kosovo.

The Ministry of Health has announced that in the past 24 hours, 32 citizens lost their battles with the virus.

The results of 13.953 suspected tests confirmed that another 1.612 citizens had contracted the coronavirus, bringing the total number of active cases in the country to 26.524.

2.460 citizens have recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries since the onset of the pandemic in the country to 119.471.

Massive vaccination continues nationwide, with 20.618 doses being administered in the past 24 hours.

Since the beginning of inoculation initiatives in Kosovo, a total of 862.224 anti-COVID jabs have been administered, resulting in 291.645 citizens having been fully inoculated with both doses of the vaccine.
