Tirana’s International Airport announced on Tuesday that all citizens that want to travel to Germany must meet at least one of the criteria listed below:
- Vaccination passport, where at least two weeks have passed from the date of full vaccination or proof of passing Sars-Cov2 infection, valid up to 6 months after recovery
- Digital PLF Passenger Locator Form
- In case you are not equipped with the vaccination certificate you must have the Antigen test or PCR and you must do a 10-day quarantine at the address written in the PLF
Germany recognizes the following EMA–approved vaccines: Pfizer Biotech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Jonhson & Johnson.
Children younger than 12 years old will not be required to do the test.
Almost a week ago, Italy imposed similar measures aimed at preventing a potential surge in new COVID-19 cases caused by the highly contagious delta variant.
