The epidemiologic situation in Albania continues to linger at a steady rate in terms of new cases and fatalities. In its daily notice, the Ministry of Health has reported 4 fatalities and 740 new cases in the last 24 hours.
The present numbers have also affected the rate of hospital admissions, with patients asking for medical assistance due to complications arising from a COVID infection.
Authorities report that 152 patients are currently admitted to hospital, 15 of whom are presenting severe forms of the virus. There are also currently 12,129 actively ill citizens nationwide.
In addition, 715 citizens have recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries since the outbreak of the pandemic in our country to 137,58.
