5 citizens have lost their lives in the past 24 hours and 1 079 have been infected with coronavirus, in Albania.

This was the balance posted by the Ministry of Health displaying a detailed account of the daily effects of the pandemic in our country.

The rise in infections has contributed to an increase in hospital admissions. Currently there’s a total of 152 patients in hospital, 18 of whom are exhibiting more severe symptoms.

In addition, according to MSH, 804 citizens have successfully recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the overall number of recoveries since the onset of the pandemic in our country to 138 391.

2 528 citizens have lost their lives in our country since the beginning of the pandemic, the majority of whom had underlying health conditions.
