PM Kurti: There can be discussions between Kosovo and Brussels, not Kosovo-Serbia

The PM of Kosovo, Albin Kurti has come out with a statement saying that the main topic, which shouldn’t be delayed any longer, in regards to the dialogue with Serbia, is the issue of missing persons.

“There’s only one subject that can no longer wait and that is the issue of the missing persons, the violently vanished wartime victims and this will definitely be discussed in Brussels. Meanwhile, in regards to the other issues, we have presented our proposals have naturally, not been accepted,” – declared Kurti.

The Kosovo PM also gave the remark that from now on, Kosovo could open up discussions with Brussels, but not with Serbia.

“There can be discussions between Kosovo and Brussels, but not with Serbia however,” – said Kurti, implying that Kosovo’s will be steadfast on its earlier views.

Kurti also declared that the meetings of the last 2 days amongst the delegations of Kosovo and Serbia in Brussels, are preparatory for the upcoming dialogue phase, that according to him will pave the way for a new chapter.
