In the past 24 hours, 4 citizens have unfortunately lost their lives due to COVID-19 in our country, whereas 977 others have been confirmed as new cases.

The positive cases were discovered after their results came back positive out of a total 6 308 tests conducted nationwide.

In the last 24 hours, an additional 919 citizens have successfully recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries since the onset of the pandemic in our country, to 140 176.

There are currently 12 582 actively infected citizens in our country, the majority of whom are in the capital of Tirana.

The Ministry of Health has appealed to citizens to get their vaccines, announcing that all adults over 18 have the possibility to get vaccinated in every vaccination center during the entire month of September.
