Since the beginning of September, over 800 active COVID-19 cases have been reported in Albania.

This has led the total active case count to top 12 000 patients scattered across the entire nation.

In the past 24 hours, out of a total 4 334 tests conducted nationwide, 864 have come back positive, and were added to the total list of active cases.

At the moment, there are 175 patients admitted to hospital and receiving specialized care – 15 of them are exhibiting more severe symptoms.

4 fatalities were also unfortunately registered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in our country two 2 543.
