The NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg met on Friday with the EU Special Envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, to discuss the de-escalation of tensions between the two countries.
In an official press release, Stoltenberg confirmed that NATO endorses the recent deal to lower tensions in northern Kosovo and ensuring progress throughout the dialogue brokered by the European Union.

The NATO Secretary-General added that he has been in touch with both Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo’s premier Albin Kurti to ensure that the two sides avoid tensions and return to the table of the dialogue.
Stoltenberg said that NATO-EU cooperation on Kosovo is an “excellent example” of the strategic partnership of the two organizations.
